[[3]](https://www.comingsoon.net/tv/news/2189350-kristen-bell-adam-brody-nobody-wants-this-season-3-first-look) ## Moving in and signing up Season 3 begins with Noah and Joanne moving in together and Joanne starting Jewish conversion classes. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) The couple is moving into a house at the start of the season. [[2]](https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/tv-streaming/2026/10/21/nobody-wants-this-season-3-release-date-trailer-cast/92363560007/) If you have followed the show, that is a long way from the setup of the first two seasons. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) Those seasons centered on whether Noah, a good-boy rabbi, could ever really be with Joanne, an agnostic Gentile sex podcaster. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) Season 2 ended with Joanne deciding to convert to Judaism, and Noah realized he wanted to be with her regardless of her choice. [[3]](https://www.comingsoon.net/tv/news/2189350-kristen-bell-adam-brody-nobody-wants-this-season-3-first-look) ## Life in the new house Joanne's inability to shut a cabinet door is a recurring annoyance, which Noah compares to living with a ghost. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) The two also wake each other in the night to say 'Hey. We live together.' [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) The season is positioned to move past uncertainty about the romance and focus on the couple's firsts as a couple. [[3]](https://www.comingsoon.net/tv/news/2189350-kristen-bell-adam-brody-nobody-wants-this-season-3-first-look) Joanne publicly brags about her and Noah's sex life in an attempt to one-up an ex, played by Avan Jogia. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) She also almost sabotages the couple's first trip together by running into a needy fan at the airport, played by creator Erin Foster. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) ## Classes, a temple and a mother Joanne explores an introductory Judaism class in Season 3. [[3]](https://www.comingsoon.net/tv/news/2189350-kristen-bell-adam-brody-nobody-wants-this-season-3-first-look) Her conversion classes feature tension with guest stars Sarah Silverman as Rabbi Eden and Andrew Rannells and Keyla Monterroso Mejia as fellow students. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) Rannells, Monterroso Mejia and Silverman join the season in major recurring roles. [[3]](https://www.comingsoon.net/tv/news/2189350-kristen-bell-adam-brody-nobody-wants-this-season-3-first-look) Noah's old temple is willing to bring him back for a trial run now that it has been reassured his life partner will become part of the congregation. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) His mother, played by Tovah Feldshuh, is eager to turn Joanne into a perfect rebbetzin. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) ## Less Judaism, more ensemble Season 3 significantly reduces its exploration of Judaism and Jewish culture. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) A Christmas-traditions episode receives more elaborate spotlight than any Jewish holiday does. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) With Noah's career back on track, the congregation mostly fades into the background of the season. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) The review says this may respond to critique of the show's earlier treatment of Jewishness, or may reflect that religion is no longer a driving issue in the central romance. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) With no major obstacles left for Joanne and Noah, dramatic tension falls more heavily on the ensemble cast. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) The season focuses on the connection between Morgan (Justine Lupe) and Sasha (Timothy Simons). [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) Sasha and his wife Esther (Jackie Tohn) are in a very fresh separation. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) Sasha and Esther return to the dating world, and Morgan takes her career to a new level. [[3]](https://www.comingsoon.net/tv/news/2189350-kristen-bell-adam-brody-nobody-wants-this-season-3-first-look) The season also explores unresolved feelings between Sasha and Morgan. [[3]](https://www.comingsoon.net/tv/news/2189350-kristen-bell-adam-brody-nobody-wants-this-season-3-first-look) ## Guest stars and cameos Avan Jogia, Poorna Jagannathan, Sadie Sandler, Steven Weber and Stephanie Koenig appear as guest stars. [[3]](https://www.comingsoon.net/tv/news/2189350-kristen-bell-adam-brody-nobody-wants-this-season-3-first-look) Erin Foster, the show's creator, makes a cameo. [[3]](https://www.comingsoon.net/tv/news/2189350-kristen-bell-adam-brody-nobody-wants-this-season-3-first-look) ## What it means for you Season 3 airs Thursday, October 22, on Netflix. [[2]](https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/tv-streaming/2026/10/21/nobody-wants-this-season-3-release-date-trailer-cast/92363560007/) They all arrive on the same day. [[3]](https://www.comingsoon.net/tv/news/2189350-kristen-bell-adam-brody-nobody-wants-this-season-3-first-look) The season is only available for streaming on Netflix with a paid subscription. [[2]](https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/tv-streaming/2026/10/21/nobody-wants-this-season-3-release-date-trailer-cast/92363560007/) If you came for the Judaism storylines, expect the season to reduce them significantly. [[1]](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-reviews/nobody-wants-this-season-3-review-netflix-adam-brody-1236737074/) If you came for the ensemble, the season puts more drama on that cast.
